Default OMG !!!! Look at this crap!!!

I have noticed i have been getting louder for a week or two, so i finally got time to look under the vehicle.
I put on Test Pipes from Tuningpros.com (Megan, pretty sure) and all hell has broke loose.
My Gruppe Y-Pipe is cracked, my B-Pipe is cracked and the test pipes are cracked.
You think the test pipes could have caused all this?
This sucks bad!

My gruppe-s y-pipe cracked, probably from me dragging my low *** car over speed bumps and driveways(damn long wheelbase).

I just took the whole thing off. Y-pipe, B-pipe and tests. There is something rattling inside the Test pipes. In between the mesh and the cover. That was a BIG annoyance!!! That incessant rattling. The B-pipe is almost cracked all the way around. The Y-pipe is cracked just a tiny bit. The driver side test pipe has almost come all the way apart.

Yup, they have no hanger bracket.
My car isn't lowered. I don't drag. So it's not that.

i had the same ypipe and it cracked in the same exact place. i ended up getting a name brand ypipe (JIC) and have not had any issues.

but in your situation that is a lot of cracks.... maybe the combo of your engine brace and the quality of megan and the gruppe-s stuff has something to do with it?

I don't know. It beats anything i've seen.
I think it has to do with having no bracket mounts.

Add another cracked Gruppe-S y-pipe

Had mine installed for about 8 months before I noticed it was cracked. For the first 7 months, I had JUST the y-pipe installed. It wasn't until after installing a set of Helix Cats (without the cat bracket installed) that this happened.

I'm back to the stock y-pipe now, but I can hear more exhaust leaks under the car again I'm about ready to give up on exhaust stuff for this damn car.

Thanks. I doubt that it matters. Test pipes are light. The probability of test pipes stressing the entire exhaust system is slim.

i don't think you should give up, just buy higher quality parts.

I agree, buy a better product. I will never buy anything from Gruppe-S again.

Have the muffler shop wield the crack for around 20 bucks.

Wow! That is terrible. It looks like you need to upgrade to a better y-pipe. My JIC has held up really well considering I track the SOB
