Any Major Dif Between The 2 Intakes? I See Buncha 25$ Intakes On Ebay And Then I See The 150-250$ Ones... After All They Are Just Some Aluminium Pipings No?

 

The difference between a $25 and $150 intake is manufactures reliability and proven performance. If you would like to experiment with the $25 Zoom Intake from Acme Performance in Back Water, Louisiana, go for it. Buy it, install it and post the results.

 

intakes are MOSTLY for noise anyway. maybe you get 1hp-like 3hp max some intakes show losses on the low end and maybe that 1-3hp on top end

 

so intakes are just a SHOW thing then? hell i dont think 3hp is worth over 20$ anyways.... would the hp gain be better if there was a SC or Turbo or does it make no difrnce?

 

A injen intake, or JwT popcharger would be a great mod for you to do... It would definitely gain some HP (whether you could feel it from the drivers seat or not I am not sure). The difference between a $25 intake and a $150 one, is the same difference as a car that costs $18,000 vs. our 350zzzzzzz!!!!!

 

Bolt-on horsepower (any bolt-on) is about $100/horsepower. Some owners do no not consider the dollar/horsepower value worthwhile, while other owners do. Its a matter of personal choice.
