Unhappy Exhaust Issue

so yah.. went to nissan to get my gas recalled today and some other things..
found out that they couldnt do it because of my greddy exhaust was like in the way of some stuff, thats what the guy had to do to install the exhaust...so i was disappointed bout that, but thats not the major issue that they told me.... since the greddy exhaust is so much bigger than factory, because of its size it got closer to something called the evap tube which is the exhuast fumes thing that it recycles someting ( dont kknow wat the guy was talking about) anyways since it was so much closer than the factory it somewhat casued the tube to dry crack which the nissan guy says its a fire hazard if it ever cracked, says its serious stuff so they just put like a heat foil wrap around it so it wont or reduce the cracking or someting... does any one else have this problem from a greddy exhaust or any other exhaust, if so give ur 2 cents . (the tube is located under the passenger side)...

i was thinking since its cracking due to the heat from the exhaust should i some how get like a heat shield to block the heat from getting to the tube.. if so where would i get a piece of heat sheild?

So in other words my car is going to explode in a ball of flames if I do not complete the recall...

...and its going to explode in a ball of flames because the muffler on the passenger side is too close to the fuel evaporation line?

And on a more serious note....

...look at the heat shield in the upper right corner of the photo. The shield is still in place. I know of no aftermarket exhaust were the heat shied must be removed. Anyone?

not that shield....its a black one...covers the evap stuff...pretty much right behind the bumper...but yes...you will explode...twice...and then after you leave the car...you will spontaneously combust into flames...that is all.
