NISMO no question.... has such a great sound ... especially with a plenum and good headers... plus if you were worried abou the tips then deff. go with NISMO... looks good sounds good.. what else you need?

I definately appreciate all of the feed back. First hand experience posts were especially appreciated regarding the Stillen and APS. I found a local dealership that has the NISMO for $920, so I am going with that system. Yes, it is not as dramatic as the HKS, but it keeps my warranty and fits well within my plan for the vehicle. And overall, the HKS looks odd to ME from the back. I ordered my MREV Plus as well. The two should compliment each other well, I just hope the CAI is compatiable.

One small concern is that the gains on the NISMO is for the y-pipe back exhaust, where as some of the other systems gained more with just their mid-pipe and main muffler. I wonder how much more the Stillen or Fujitsubo would provide with the addition of a y-pipe as well?

The stillen is a dual catback and cannot be used in conjuction with an aftermarket Y-pipe. The Fujitsubo is basically the same exhaust as the nismo, so the gains should be the same. That said, gains from any catback will be close to one another.

Sorry to be a little off topic but is this exhaust like the topspeed? If it is, is it loud as hell too? Oh yeah, back to topic save some cash and stick with the Nismo or just get a Helix exhaust, those are even less then Nismo and have some decent gains.

That system looks like a Nvidia and topspeed pro-1 knock off. Should sound the same

The Nvidia setup was the original, then came the topspeed knock-off, and now the DNX knock-off. I am sure they have slight differences, but for those trying to get an idea of what it sounds like can easily find clips of the Nvidia or Topspeed setups

This may not be truelly representative of what the exhaust sounds like, but come on, $1500!!!!!! The nismo is a bargain at under $900 compared to the HKS.
The exhaust sounds nothing like that. I thought we discussed this already that this exhaust needs to be heard in person because it sounds nothing like it does on video. I think my video are somewhat close to what it really sounds like. Not to mention if your looking for something that looks other than stock HKS is the way to go.

These are knock-off's of the Apexi N1 not the Indivia N1. The Apexi N1 has a small central muffler with the two N1's that come off of that like the Topspeed and DNX. The Invidia just has two N1 mufflers with no central muffler section. So I would look for sound clips of the Apexi N1.

Invidia N1

Apexi N1

guys when i recieve this exhaust tommorrow, ALL the questions and doubts will be answered. so expect MANY pictures and it will also be compared to the invidia exhaust that I have also since it seems like its almost identical. if it is what i think it is.... there is no way anyone without an exhaust should be passing this offer up.

HKS is a super nice exhaust, but you can't beat the bang for your buck of the nismo...

Also, Just to let you all know we are running a sale on the Nismo exhausts:

all ready to ship...

I wonder how much it weighs? I guess if I were to get a new exhaust, it would have to be true dual.
