I think the new turbo magazone shows the 60hp gain. The new kinetix plenum is very nice IMO. Worth every penny I believe.

Based solely on looks, I would go with the new Kinitex Racing SSV manifold, especially if you want to go FI. For me, who wants to remain NA, the Motodyne MREV is the best option for me. I like the stealh factor and almost all positive feedback about Motodyne, but if you want flash that SSV is sweet.

I believe the original poster was referring to the plastic plenum and NOT the SSV manifold. I just mentioned the SSV since that is what I have.

With the new lower $299 price on the Crawford cast plenum, it's worthy of consideration also.

The 60hp gain was on a FI car, which should be taken into consideration. The gains for a NA car were about the same according to what the SSV website states versus actual dyno results for Motodyne.

Those dynos are BS, plain and simple. There are TONS of threads out there talking about the plenum and lack of proof that it does anything more than look pretty.

You can search them out if you like. Fact is, the plenum is WAY overpriced and no legitimate dynos to prove any notable gains

Nitrous can do that , but really though... the differences in power and looks do not overcome the price. The spacer is a great deal!

Nosser: What TP & Y-Pipe are you running? I'm thinking of doing a Y-Pipe also but neverous how the exhaust note will sound.

I just ordered Crawford cast plenum, They are down to $300. I like the idea of a single gasket (instead of 2 with a spacer) to have less chance of leaks. Kinetix.....I have the cats, but would never run the plastic... Love the SSV, but $820 for 10-15 horses??? Love the bling though.

Which is why if you re-read my post I clearly state their CLAIMS as opposed to what actual members have dyno'd and proven with the MREV. I too am skeptical and on top of that too many people are focusing on the 60hp figure, but overlooking the accompanying modifications to even potentially yield that type of return.

If you have the cash, buy what looks awesome, what has good gains and what is supportive of going F/I if you decide to go that route! You just cant go wrong with this! I guess I may be slightly bias though!
