hey everyone, i am considering putting test pipes on my 03 350z, its all stock except a intake, but a few questions, first will it burn my exhaust valves if i do, because i know it will cause that on some cars like hondas and some other cars, but on the 350z? also anyone know what kind of gains to expect sound wise and performance wise on the stock car?

I have never heard of such issue..

 

burned valves happen cause of backfire usually. I can see how a test pipe can cause that kind of damage, but i havn't heard of it in the 350z realm.

 

So cats eliminate backfire? This makes no sense to me. Can somebody care to explain to me?
