Default Single Exhaust

Is anyone running a single exit exhaust on the Z and if so....how do you like it and does anyone have any pictures of it?

I just bought a custom hks titanium single exhaust and am a little nervous about going single exit.

Thanks,

Mike

there are a few single exit exhausts avalible for our cars already. I would say that the only main benifit to them is the weight savings in which case I would go with the JIC full titanium Spartan exhaust.

Ya, the single is a little lighter. You can always have it custom made at a local shop. We will be releasing our single exhaust next week and you could always send the muffler to us and we will weld it on our system for you.

It is already put together on a custom pipe. Is it being lighter the only actual benefit?

It should look good don't you think?

It all depends on the car to be honest. If you are going for a super clean look then it is not what you want. If you are going for a race look like Rickdoggs car then it may be. a single exit exhaust on a Z is something that must be executed percisely and must be done with a good theme or you will be burned horribly and will be "ricey".

just food for thought.

Single exit exhausts sure look good, the only problem is that the bumper looks weird with the hole. I can also see them sounding good..

With the stock bumper some say the single exhaust looks weird. However with some of the aftermarket bumpers they look really good.

Some people like it. Some don't. Your opinion is not fact. It's not "wrong" to use a single exhaust, it's just different.

Stillen offers a center exit exhaust. Check out intensepower.com. You have to have the rear valance though I think.

Thanks for the comments...both sides. I guess it isn't for everyone but I think and hope it will look good. Here some pictures of my car. You guys can decide if it will look good.

Well i will take pictures when I get it done. I think it will look different. Which I like. I don't like my car looking like others.

As for aftermarket bumpers...Does anyone know of any that would work with that?

I have a single, but no good shots of the rear. Only 9.8lbs JIC full Ti, I LOVE it, and I will be filling the hole on the bumper before summer to not make it look awkward...

It doesn't look that awkward. Look for pictures of SHO-TIME 's car.

The bump/cutout thing for the other exhaust exit isn't that big. Well, maybe it would be more noticeable on a red car, who knows.
