Default MAF Sensor question?

I am considering have a custom built intake manifold. However, the main problem right now actually lies in the intake tube. Based on the throttle body location I will more than likely not be able to use one MAF since it will use a twin intake system and the MAF would be to close to the throttle body at the merge point. Is there any way to use one MAF sensor on each intake pipe or would I only need one?

Not that I know of. As you mentioned, double intake will have a common tub near the throttle body, so most likely you will set-up a single MAF sensor there.

It will be interesting to see how the MAF senser will function so close to the throttle body.

From what I know this may cause problems being so close since there is a chance of air reversion meaning the air could possibly change directions causing problems.
