Default PLENUM SPACER Question

Questions: 06 350Z Touring

I am interested in a PLENUM SPACER like a Kinetix Racing V+ Plenum 350Z or, The Motordyne 5/16" Basic Plenum spacer.. Not sure of brands, quality, and size.. Note: I want to keep my engine cover and strut bar.

The Turbonator? What the HELL! If this for real?? the website: http://www.turbonator.com/ stated that~ (the Turbonator will add up to 35 horsepower to your vehicle)

Anyway.. Any info would be great!!

Thanks everybody!.!.!

1) You need to use this: https://my350z.com/forum/search.php
2) The Motordyne 5/16" will allow you to keep your OEM strut bar and no mods to the hood.

get the turbonator! a ton of members on here have them, even twin turbonators, best mod ever. No real dynos, just the butt dyno showed gains.

Dont forget to reset your ecu when you install the turbonators, else they wont work.

There’s angled to even out the flow of air to the engine. and shipping is fast, but most of all the Quality is top notch, they make these in house.

I am running twin Turbonators. I gained a little more than 75whp with them on top of what my JWT TT kit puts down. Best $80.00 I ever spent.

OK, I hate to be the one to break up the fun... but this guy is a REAL newbie and might actually go out and buy this thing.

Stay way from the Turnonator, also known as the "Tornado Fuel Saver". DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Check out a multitude of website that have exposed this scam (example: http://www.wcpo.com/external/dwym/c3b519.html).

Do a search on this forum for the Turbonator or the Tornado fuel saver and see for yourself.

Now, as for the spacers. I myself have been considering the Motordyne MREV plus setup for a while now.

That fuel saver was featured in I think it was car and driver but maybe another magazine. They'll tell you it was featured in that magazine betting you'll never go pick up and read the article telling you its a piece of crap.

You need to learn to use search before asking questions that have been asked 100 times before.

But I have looking into a PLENUM SPACER and did do a search here, and got a few returns. One that did come back on a search was The Motordyne.

As far as the Turnonator, I have seen devices that this, and was not sold on it.

I am a NEWBIE to the Nissan, but worked on older cars. The 350Z is my first sportcar and first Nissan.

Just trying to get input from the pro's... Sorry to bother you folks with old issues.

I've got the 5/16" Motordyne and I love it. No dyno numbers to show you, but I could feel a difference and you can retain all stock parts.

Review the sport Z magazine plenum vs plenum spacer thread. Make a decision based on the results.

My apologies for the Turbonator post. Should have included a wink.

I understand about being familiar with older carburetor cars, then going to the 350Z. Stuff like the intake plenum are a foreign language. Read and learn. You will become familiar with the 350Z in no time.

I know how you feel, I was second guessing also for a split second. Then I read his signature and noted that he quoted everything EXCEPT the turbonator.

Hence I felt it was my job to let the newbie in on the little joke. This thread reminds me of that time everybody was trying to convince somebody that the hazard lights actually works as a rev limiter removal.

Or even better order the back issue. It was a good read, and made my mind up on which plenum mod to get.

You mean they don't work!!! I already ordered 2 of them after reading what they other guys said.

Not really.

Anyways. Will the motordyne spacer work with the revup motor?

Don't listen to Lamaz...he just doesn't want all the noob's knowing that the 05's are still faster and lighter than the 06's.

Last thing he needs is a 05' walking all over his 06'...
