Default Buying just new tips?

I don't have the money to go out and buy a new exhaust just yet, and frankly, it really isn't a huge concern either. Instead, I was thinking of just putting on bigger tips on the stock exhaust.

And I wouldn't even think about doing this, but I will be picking up my car from the body shop in the next couple of days, and the stock tips will look tucked in and too small for the ings lx rear. So anybody have any suggestions as to what tips I should buy? Ideally, something that looks EXACTLY like the stock tips, just larger would be best. And I don't want to spend a whole lot either. I was thinking around $100 for tips and installation/weld would be best.

Suggestions? TIA.

Borla part # 20156 Pro XS, 2-1/2" inlet, 4" outlet, 6" long.

MagnaFlow part # 35136 4" inlet, 5-1/4" long, 2-1/2 inlet or part # 35121 same as 35136 but 7-1/2" long.

All look double walled, round, polished with an angle cut.

Check the part numbers at their websites, should bring up the image, I'm going out of a catalog.

Both of those are nice, but pricey, especially the Borla! I don't know if I want to spend $67.99 EACH on JUST tips...I was hoping for around $35-40 each + installation (probably welded?).

Yeah I'll probaby see what to do. I do think the stock tips are rather tucked in. Heck, if I can extend those out, then that'll be good enough for the time-being. What I REALLY want is the Fujitsubo, but I don't know if I'm willing to throw down like $800 for small gains.

Yeah the Borla's are a little pricey, keep in mind that is retail.

These: MagnaFlow part # 35136 4" inlet, 5-1/4" long, 2-1/2 inlet, retail for about $35.00.

I'm working on becoming a sponsor, so please don't get upset when I say that I have all of these in stock and can get you a good deal.

^^but you have a Nismo exhaust? Did you just hack the tips and replace them with something else? I really like the Nismo exhaust too, but I don't like how the tips angle/point slightly upward (I want them to go straight out). Plus they're not bigger than stock (which I need to fill the ings rear).

OK I'm officially a sponsor now. Let me know if I may help you further with these.

Thanks,
Gary
