Exhaust threads belong in the exhaust forum but...

If you are looking for performance, get test pipes. Exhaust gas will flow better, and this will increase noise. Rattles? Not if they are installed properly.

i have the true dual borla system with testpipes.... sounds reeaaal nice 4k+ by reeeal raspy 2500-3500 rpms... lots of power but people will definently think your can is messed up when they hear the rasp... sounds like a rattle snake or a marracca is stuck in your exhaust system

Yeah I'm thinking of doing the same, but I don't want that raspy sound, had it on my Prlude. The gains were awsome, but the sound not so much.

LaBree test pipes, no rasp. If so its VERY faint and not even noticable. Best test pipes you can get.

it seems like any testpipes you put on your car will be raspy. the labree's have been said to not rasp, but i dont really recall a video or any substantial proof of this. I could be wrong, and if anyone has this please share.
