hey guys, i was just wondering if you would be able to tell me which one is better for performance :an intake duct like the varis vs a cold air, i figured that they would be very similar considering that they both let in colder denser air, but what i wonder which one is better since the air duct has less tubing to travel as compared to a cold air. thanks cheers

 

Boy I wish that I knew the answer. As you mentioned, there a two opinions on the short vs long intake:

a. Short is good. The less distance air has to travel (and the less pipe bends) the better.

b. Long intake pulls ambient air from outside the engine bay. That air is cooler than air from inside the engine.

So if you dont mind cutting a hole in the front bumper, the duct and short intake is a winner.
