Default Dumb cat question

I know if you go with test pipes, the check engine light comes on. Now does it still come on if you just go with high flow cats? Or does it depend on which brand?

High-flow cats from a reputable company do a pretty good job of cleaning emissions. You should not get a SES light.

if you have an 03 you will be okay. you can even go catless, but if you have an 04+ you will get the SES.
