Default Looking for an exhaust

I had a fart can on my cavalier ( it was free, don't ask) I recently took it off, cause it finally drove me nuts. I'm looking for an exhaust for the Z. I'm looking at injen ses, but I'm afraid it's gonna sound like the fart can. Which ones have a good tone ( not too loud) and performance. I've heard sound clips from quite a few exhausts, but I don't know if I can trust them.

if you want something quiet and throaty i would suggest either a NISMO or Helix system. quiet and stealthy. and they wont draw too much attention to you until you get on it.

If you decide to go with Injen SES check out our deal we just posted at the below link.

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=188385

Here's a link to our website with pics of a install and information on the kit.

The injen is a deep sounding exhaust but, I wouldn't say it is farty.

Thanks,
Gary

+1 the sound is deep and smooth, this was before i modified mine with an x-pipe... it's just not, z-like

but that's true of ALL the non-crossover TDs

Why? What does an X pipe do for the sound?

I have the Tanabe medallion touring exhaust and it is very quiet being under 93db at 5000rpm,but still gives you that nice growl of the Z

to put it simply, it made it idle smoother, deeper tones down low, higher tones up high

but most importantly, it brought the signature Z sound back
