LOL.

Check to insure that you have all parts. Nothing like having a car on blocks and you are missing one damn gasket.

If you are having problems with stubborn rubber mounts, toss them in warm water or add a touch of WD40.

Its possible to break stubborn nuts and bolts. Unusually vise grips will take care of the problem.

Take your time. Have fun.

+1 On what davidv said. Once I got my car on the lift I sprayed all the bolts and hangers with some Rem-Oil and let them sit while I organized my parts and tools, then when I was ready to start unbolting it was good to go. The hangers proved to be a pain but taking them off completely from the car then attatching them to the muffler while it is off the car was easier as opposed to trying to pry the muffler off of them. Mine took a little over an hour to install. Was by myself btw. Post pics when done!

i found that using a big *** plier to mash the rubber mounts off the hangars was a big help.

Sure do, I cleaned them up a bit of course. Washed them with some good grease cutting soap and warm water to get all the grunge off. Then a light spray of Rem-Oil (or WD-40) and theyre like new

Maybe AutoZone has a pair of EXHAUST HANGER REMOVAL PLIERS that you can borrow?
