Engine plenum spacers, any good? worth $$?
i was thinking about a plenum spacer for my Z.
i'm pretty sure it will work with my tt installed, but really....are they worth the 8-10hp gain for 200 bucks?
if anyone has one. let me know if you notice anything, or what. and if there is any decent plenum spacer out there?
i dont want to have to ebay my parts! but i will if i'm forced and straped for cash!!.. j/k
thanks..

The 5/16 MD plenum spacer will typically add 17-20 HP on a 7 psi boosted engine.
And they are currently being used up to 24 PSI @ ~800HP. An added benefit is that you still get to keep your stock strut bar.
But either way you go, I don't recommend using both a spacer and plenum. There won't be any real (additional) gains and it probably won't fit under the hood.

It has been proven that with the rev up motor and our spacer more torque has been gained

Why not. Is the plenum better some how? Can you give some info supporting this. Thanks.

I'm going to buy Kinetix cats very soon, and I was thinking of buying the cats+plenum package from them for 650 bucks. First I'll ask if I should just buy their cats and them buy a plenum or a plenum spacer from someone else. Will the difference in power gains be so small that it really won't matter?
Does anyone know how long it will take me to install the plenum myself?
