Nismo Headers+Crawford HFC+TS ECU Reflash+KJR Crank Pulley+19" Wheels = +7whp

Rather dissapointing really.
Just came back from my latest dyno and I don't really feel good about it.
My Car dynoed at 255whp and 235 ft.lb torque. (Dynojet) Disregard the 256 torque (The meter just jumped)
My previous best with Pop Charger, Nismo Exhaust, and 5/16 plenum spacer
was at 248whp and 232 ft.lb torque.
I was expecting at least 260+whp, but I guess it isn't just happening.
I honestly thought I would gain 7whp just with Crawford Cats alone.
How much more do you think I can gain if I dyno with my stock 17"s?
My A/F was around 14.5, so I don't know who I should trust; my dyno place or Technosquare.

I gained 10whp on a dynojet with NismoHeaders,JWT popcharger and nismo exhaust. My dyno was 249/239trq. I think you should be a lil better because of the Cats and reflash. Unless the dyno is reaaaal conservative and you dyno'd 220 to start with.

+1 on the same dyno question. If it is the same, are the cal factors it's using the same? Too many variables to get too wrapped up in the final numbers from any dyno. They are great to baseline and to track gains, but only on the same machine, same cal, etc. Same day, same hook-up is the ideal for pre/post comparos, but not real practical for a lot of mod installs.
Regarding your a/f, did they cal for cats? (a/f will read higher with cats and no compensation for them since your cats are "leaning" the exhaust) The shop I used last did this, but with a real light cal factor and my a/f showed in the 14's too. I've since monitored the oem widebands with an OBDII sw package and see high 12's and low 13's though. Don't really know what to trust there myself.
I'm actually going to a different shop next week for some work, and I'm going to go ahead and have a dyno done there, more to get another look at a/f than to see what their work does for me since I won't have a baseline to compare against on their machine. They have Cipher, so I will ask them to run it on the oem w/b's to compare against the dyno a/f and my previous ODBII samples and hopefully I'll have some sort of answer for what my a/f really is from all of this.

All the dynos I've done were done at the same dyno with around the same
time frame of the day (Between 10-11am, similar temperature, etc)
All my previous dynos (up to Runfile_022) were done on stock 17"
The five runs today were done with 19" with Runfile_027 being the best.
My first ever dyno on the same dyno was close to 245hp with 230 torque just with Pop Charger.
They probably didn't cal my cats, but since I had the ECU reflash I thought
my A/F was already taken care of.
It's just a bit depressing to see after thousands of dollars, with headers, exhaust,
plenum spacer, high-flow cats, ECU reflash, and crank pulley I've only gained 10whp.
I'm sure I can squeeze in a few more hp with stock rims, and if I can get
the A/F to around 13 I can top 260whp...
But honestly I thought the headers, Cats, pulley, and ECU reflash would
bring me more close to 270whp mark...

I am no expert or anything and correct me if I am wrong but I am assuming your rims and tires could be what is giving you less hp? It could be the rims and tire setup is heavier than what you had?

Only thing heavier is of course my bigger and wider tires.
It'll probably only make about 5hp difference anyway, and that's still not the result I was targeting.

I feel ya. I dynoed my car with everything on it and did not get the kind of results I was hoping for. That is why I am going FI. Too bad I spent way too much money on my NA mods before making this discussion.

Yea - your AF is real lean. It needs to be flat at about 13 - or even 12.5 - 13 across the line - that'd get you another 10-15.
You may need to get a piggy back - like the Apexi to tune it better if TS can't get it down.

gsazabi, yeah, i would call tadashi and let him know that your AF is lean. The numbers aren't that bad, with dyno's it could be anything, temperature, humidity, but i would get that lean condition fixed first. Yeah, it sounded like TS just got their dyno working, so i wasn't too concerned with the numbers from TS's dyno run, as i'm not sure if it was set up for my 3.9 gear among other things. Actually, i think i was at 256/242 SAE corrected on a dynojet with similar mods myself a few years ago. Did you try resetting ECU before you dyno'd?

We like to always dyno with our original 17's for comparison sake, but when tuning we sometimes dont change them out which is why we have seen the difference.

islandsnow - I will give Tadashi a call today.
I didn't reset the ECU after the reflash. I thought I don't have to
since the mods were already installed before the ECU reflash.
VandyZ - I will try to dyno with my stocks 17" if I get a chance..
Hopefully that will give me the gains you've mentioned.
davidv - That torque figure is wrong. The meter spiked.
It's more like 235 ft. lb.
P.S. WATCH TOP GEAR!!!
I will update shortly...
