The OEM exhaust manifold gasket works with all headers. The exhaust ports in the motor block match those in the headers (they had better!).

The 3 and 2-bolt OEM gaskets may not. Buy new OEM gaskets. If the do not fit you can get a refund. One of our members mention a simple but smart way to buy the correct size gaskets. Put a piece of paper against the end. Rub with a pencil. Take the drawing to the auto parts store.

Dude, calm down.
dont use the stock gaskets... play it safe so u dont get any leaks. Good luck wit the install...its a B*tch... Ull defitenly feel some hp after u replace ur headers, cats, and exhaust.. Free flowing!
In all due respect respect--Stock gaskets are fine and reusable ---I bought new because I didnt relize that ---They were like 30.00 but saved the old cuz they were fine. I did my alphas in 4 hrs and if I did another set I could do them in less than 3. Lot of removal of top items so u can get ur torque wrench in there. Just have to break ur steering U-joint apart on the bottom to get clearence
Strup headers are some of the best fitting headers around. The bends are different from others to help provide more clearance since it's so tight down there to begin with.
Gains on these headers are pretty respectable too, as far as the shorty headers go.
This is a dyno chart that was submitted by a fellow my350z forum member who has an '05 Z with nothing more than a pop charger on it at the time this dyno was done. This is a pretty decent reference, and as usual with any mod, your results may vary, but he's happy as hell with them!

We're about a week away from getting more of them ready to ship. Strup has had them on backorder for some time now, but we'll be ready to rock soon. We're having a nice sale on them right now too! Only $489.95 with free shipping! Accepting pre-orders online now if you're interested.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

This dyno chart was not presented to the forum to mislead or misrepresent. This is an actual before and after dyno chart submitted to us by a fellow list member who did this on his own accord, and under the guidance and suggestion of this knowledgeable forum. He was new to dyno testing, and wanted to be sure the steps he was taking were done correctly, and were as close to "acceptable by this group" as possible. The only real factor between the before and after runs is the timeframe in which they occurred. I believe there was a month span between the baseline and the mod runs, but conditions under which they were done were pretty close. And it was performed at the same independent facility by the same person. These were the gains that our customer experienced on his car with these headers based on that test.
There is a thread on this forum that explains the history of this dyno test where he documented it pretty well. I'd have to search around to find the thread if you're interested.
Like I stated, the dyno chart is a decent reference, and your results may vary. But these headers, as with many others, are proven performers that WILL provide gains. And headers are one of the best NA bang for the buck mods you can do to your car. That too has been proven and realized.
As I say to anyone who asks, take a dyno chart with a shot of tequila for clarity. They are a subjective way to represent gains, but everyone wants to see them!
What we appreciate about the Strup headers over some of the others is that they are of exceptional quality and backed by a 2 year manufacturer warranty. There are no reported issues of fitment or quality. They are also able to be installed by anyone who has any experience turning a wrench and it doesn't require the engine to be lifted, or tranny lowered in some cases, to be installed. Step by step installation instructions are included with them too. Install time is averaged at 4-6 hours and won't cost you more than the price of the headers to get done by a mechanic.
So in this world of aftermarket tuning and performance parts, everyone has their favorites and everyone has their opinions. We are biased toward Strup since we sell them and we are friends of Charlie Wenstrup - owner of Strup. And we believe that he provides an exceptional product for a very reasonable price that have proven performance gains worthy of being supported by us.
Thanks for your time and interest.
