i have thought about doing boom tubes (nascar style) but it would be loud!! no place to put a muffler then.

I'm curious about this too, I think a side exhaust right in front of the rear wheels would look great. Not sure if it can be done, but that's why we pay our vendors!

Does the JGTC 350Z have a side exhaust? Or are those two big holes for fuel?

What is the ground clearance on the side of the 350Z. Do you think that might be a problem with side exit exhaust?

unless you were able to get a set custom molded into the side skirt it would be a waste of time IMO. the clearance is already very low and if you were to have the exhaust pipes exiting underneath the side skirts you would scrape everything. you would end up not only cracking bending your exhaust and cracking you side skirts, but also putting additional stress on the rest of the manifold including your cats and headers.

you could run mufflers or resonators where the cats are and bring the pipes out the sides

yeah...would be loud

Car is way too low to hang the muffler on the sides.... you would kill the exhaust in parking lots.

you dont need the muffler there...just pipes. mufflers can sit towards the engine.

also, side exhaust would look horrible anyway unless you had custom sideskirts with the pipes coming out of them...ive seen this on many cars

Those are for fuel, exhaust exit out the back. Low ground clearance wouldn't make the side exit practical.
