MD mrev2 and 5/16" review
I have a 05 287hp engine. Only other mods i have are the crank pulley, intake, exhaust, TPs.
At that time the car was a little sluggish to get up to the higher rpms but still better than stock. I did loose some low end torque but only to gain more high end power. Anyways after a while i got bored, felt like my car should be more peppy at the lower rpms and thats when i decided to go with the mrev2 and spacer.
After install and a half of day of driving i finally felt the difference. Once the ECU got used to the new mod it was almost like a night and day difference. I got back all my low end torque and more. The gains can be felt all through the powerband. In fact it made my engine spin so smoothly it feels like it was to go way past stock redline. After 4k you feel this suddent push and it doesnt stop till around 6k and then you can feel the torque dying off but the engine still spins so smooth. Before the mrev2 and spacer install i used to shift at 2.7-3 rpm on daily driving for a decent power and cruise around city in 4th gear around 2.5-3k incase i need to pick up speed to pass cars and what not. Now i can shift at 2-2.5 rpm with more ummph feel to it. And i know about you guys, I drive so much that its natural for me to just know when its right for me to shift during daily driving and like i said before it would be around 2.5-2.7k. Now if i dont look a the tach im shifting at 3-3.2k. Just a little indication how much smoother/faster it made my engine go. Thats my little rant. Great mod!
Im planning on giving it a dyno and a tune in the upcoming weeks.

So since you installed both (spacer and mrev2) and with all of your mods, you might be running a little lean. It might be time to get a tune to really get the juice out of all your mods.
Hmm yes, Id be wondering where your a/f is at. Get that thing on the dyno!
I love my spacer! G maybe Ill get an Mrev after all this stuff I have now goes on?
Yea Tony is a great guy, though swamped sometimes. Picked my spacer up from him when on the way out here.

I was one of the first people to get the MREV2 and I love it. I didn't feel too much of a difference power wise but it's definitely there. Too bad I never got a base dyno before I began modding..
