I've searched for this, but for some reason, searching isn't working properly now. Keeps saying 'no results'. Anyway.
I have the HKS ti exhaust shipping to me right now, and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and get HFC's too. What are the most affordable, reliable HFC's out there, and how do HFC's sound on the HKS Ti? Raspy/Drony at all?

i have kinetix resonated TP with my hks. You only get some rasp when the car's hot after driving for a awhile. I'd stay away from non resonated tp. I also have the tin can ringing thingy.
I also have TP's and i cant say that im too happy with the tin can sound. I just recently purchased Kinetix HFC with a 3" full exhaust. Will let you know what i think once its installed....

Have ultimate racing HFC's on OEM exhaust and it has nice, low pitch sound without any rasp or drone. YMMV on an aftermarket system but I would think the HFCs are the way to go. UR's are about $450, have 50,000 mile warranty and are all stainless, unlike some of the cheaper aluminized models.
TP smell, sound bad, throw CEL and pollute the air.....not sure why you would want any of these.
Ultimate Racing cats fit well and use the original mounting brackets which I also recommend.
