Default trying to work out an exhaust set up

so im buying a car that has strup headers, strup test pipes and injen angeled exhaust. I was curious if i could leave the strup headers and the injen exhaust on but put stock cats back in or cats to make it cali legal.

Is this set up thats on the car dual exhaust all the way back or how does it work? to put stock cats on would i have to put stock headers on also? Can the headers even be seen if i get pulled over? Im mainly looking for a way to have cats so it will pass smog still.

Im buying a Z and just getting to know the car. I currently had a 375hp wrx so im not familiar with the whole nissan thing.

Please help me out with what i can do.

any other opinions or anyone know if i can put stock cats on with strup headers and injen angeled exhaust.

do i have to change the y-pipe also??

I dont understand how the exhaust works on a Z. Does it go headers, y pipe, cats, catback??

if there are strup headers on a car with strup test pipes and injen angeled catback exhaust is the y-pipe taken out and make into dual exhaust?

Stock exhaust: Exhaust manifold, cats, y-pipe, mid-pipe, muffler
Your setup: Headers, test pipes, catback dual exhaust.

yes

yes you can replace the test pipes with the stock cats. I would probably recommend getting high-flow cats instead though. Instead of asking me which are the best high-flow cats, I recommend you look through the large amount of information on this website by using the search feature or by browsing through old threads. Then decide for yourself

You can replace the test pipes with the OEM catalytic converters.
The set-up is dual from the motor back.
As far as California emissions requirements, post your concerns in the regional forum.
