I dont care for exact parts being used, I would have been happy with "I wont tell you the company but I have 11.5:1 comp pistons, XX rods" cams specs, headowrk done and so on. I do not wish to reveal your "secrets" but you can disclose info to semi prove you might have the numbers in question without getting specific. Obviously you BS'd in the wrong thread and have officially been

Edit-btw you have a 300whp beast and run a measly SAFC-II? No timing control? If so with what? This is a joke, because if you tell me you didnt mess with timing you would never hit near 300whp, and if you tell me you have a piggyback that adjusts timing, it would tune A/F as well and you wouldnt need the AFC
Not everything on my car is in my sig...

Are you here for you or the thread?

^ I totally disagree about cai+plenum spacer not being worth it. Also you make it sound like dynapack isn't a dyno machine. I've achieved 284.3 hp on my AT, SAE corrected, with boltons ons and I still have a few more to go and it's not even tuned yet. I felt a good pull with cai+spacer. this is a great combo.

Dont know who your referring too regarding the CAi + plenum but here are my views. I can tell you that both CAI + plenum will pull better than 1 alone or stock, its not optimal. Ive dyno and track tested it. Crawford Plenum + AEM was 242 SAE whp on my car back when it was NA. Next week Crawford + Pop charger = 252whp no tune at all. Trap speeds went from 103mph to 104-105mph. Its a known fact that CAI cause too much turbulence in the intake stream to work well with a plenum. Believe what you want though, many on here have swapped on the dyno and agreed with me.

Who wins the race drinking water from a glass?

Guy with cup and a 14" straw or guy with cup of water and a 6" straw-both straws same diameter? <--same thing with your motor and the air that it sucks in.

ALBERTO - we just agreed on something

To clear the air a bit, ALBERTO and I have PM'd a bit in the last 1/2 hour and shared some info. We've buried the hatchet and have some understandings now.

Sorry for the thread-jacking - I think we're clear now.

I think the original question could've been better if it asked about the top 5 bolt-ons that are within reasonable price range.. but that's just me.

Do you mean why I didnt do cams when NA? I knew I was going to go FI, and later have the motor apart either to build it or if it blew-lucky for me it blew last month so Im doing cams now that Im rebuilding. I didnt want to spend $1000 on cams and a few hundred on valvetrain and then have to install, or pay to install ($$$$) and then retune NA-money at the time was spent wiser on FI

Well I'm going to have to go with:
1) JWT PopCharger
2) MotorDyne 5/16th Spacer w/ ISO Gasket
3) APS Test Pipes
4) UR Underdrive Crank Pulley
^With those I gained 17whp & 10wtq for a cost of $800
5) UTEC (Coming in Sept for me)

Hoping to gain some nice power from the UTEC. Any where from 10-30whp & wtq. That would put me in the 260-280whp and 245-265wtq range. While 280 & 265 would be nice I think its a far strech.

I would would also recommend the HKS Rotrex S/C Kit as a bolt on. Good for 80+ whp and safely! Even come with its own EMS. If I had $5k-$6k laying around I would grab it up quick!
