There are like ... only 6 total bolt-ons you can get for this car.

1. Exhaust
2. Intake
3. Plenum Spacer (or new plenum)
4. High Flow Cats or Test Pipes
5. Headers
6. Underdrive or lightweight crank pulley.

I think I pretty much listed them all ....

My opinion... from most gains to least...

1. High Flow Cats
2. Underdrive Pully
3. JWT Pop Charger / AEM / Injen / NISMO Cold Air Intakes
4. Cat Back Exhaust (or even just a Y-Pipe)
5. Headers
6. Plenum Spacer

7. Flywheel & Clutch but most wont consider that a bolt-on...

Underdrive Crank Pulley: We found it to add a consistant 8 RWHP across the full RPM range and engine resonse is faster... (faster revving etc..)

1 - Catback exhaust
2 - High flow cats or testpipes
3 - Stillen CAI & z-tube
4 - MD MREV and Spacer
5 - Pulleys

On the note of exhaust - work your way from the back to the front. Do the catback first, then the testpipes/CATS. You can do other mods before exhaust - but don't mess up the order. There's no sense in freeing up flow if the rest of the system is restrictive to begin with.

With 3,4 and 5 - your looking at a good 30HP and nice TQ increases - add the exhaust and CATS for another 20 - and 50HP and 40TQ additional is not far for the above combination.

Our exhaust and testpipes or CATS will yield 20HP and 18TQ combined. the rest of the mods speak for themselves.

Specifically you CAN check out what the manufacturers say their products put out...however those are usually misleading - and look I'm a manufacturer telling you this -

Most reputable products, like the ones I posted, are from the most integrous providers out there. Dyno and HP claims are typically from bone-stock cars. when you mod a car, many of these mods tend to actually perform better than advertised, especially if you combo your mods properly.

I've done extensive, and expensive personal research on hundreds of combinations, all dyno'd for effect on each other on these cars, with tunes, to find best combinations for all around performance. I have found perfect and best combination for high RPM band power, low to mid range benefits, and all band power.

The combinations I posted give the best all around bang for the NA buck and yield the best gains - not only in my opinion, but after test results and many others on these boards. These mods are of the most popular for a reason.

The only other item I would add - if there were a 6th to choose from, would be an ECU upgrade and tune. That could be in the form of a TS flash and/or an Apexi SAFCII a/f controller for the tune. If you did both, then perhaps a Utec for everything, but the TS flash does things other piggy backs can't and don't. At the bottom line - the Apexi for AF tuning on the Dyno is a bargain for 10-15 HP and 8-12 TQ - after the mods.

*Short ram intake
*Plenum
*Test-pipes
*Exhaust
*ECU <---some would consider a bolt-on some wouldnt, without it your 5 bolt-on Z will be barely quicker than stock.

Add an UDP to the list above and thats how I ran 13.1 @ 107mph

Must not have done much research because CAI's dont work well with plenum spacers/plenums. Do you have legit baseline and after mod dyno #'s as proof? Better yet, how about the track times to prove your car is pulling harder? Cuz I have both, and Id bet my NA set up would kill yours <---non biased (not a shop) personal opinion

You have to choose your exhaust setup, the others are easy to quote over at Performance Nissan. Install is pretty simple and note very expensive for any of it.

The exhaust is your expensive part. Our system, with CATS will run you close to $2k installed, if your local, for fully polished stainless.

My car is all NA - over 300HP to the wheels and over 300TQ. I don't think so - that is if we're comparing NA for NA

I have done lots of research...I'm not a shop either. My baseline on my AT was 211 HP and 207TQ - after my NA mods - before cams and internals, it pulled 284HP and 273TQ.

The number 1 all-time best mod is... driver improvement. Hit up the track, auto-x, whatever. But that's not really a bolt-on.

If I had my Z still and could do it again...
Popcharger
Test Pipes
Cat-Back
Clutch/Flywheel (hey, they bolt on...)
Plenum Spacer

And you could get all the above (except for clutch/flywheel) used, saving yourself several hundred dollars... which could turn your top 5 into like a top 8, adding...
Crank pulley
Nitrous
UTEC

Then I would invest in some wider wheels/tires.

Or, you could just save up all your loot until you can get a turbo kit. That bolts on too.

My God... that's expensive as hell. Like I said, you can pick up a good, used exhaust system for a fraction of that.

*EDIT* I see you said with cats, how much would it be with test pipes?
