Default OEM catback with aftermarket Y-pipe

I have read many times that the most restrictive points in the 350Z exhaust are the cats and the Y-pipe.

I was thinking then, that what would be the result of leaving the factory catback, and installing and aftermarket Y-pipe (I don't know any), crawford cats and DCSport headers?
