Well, I'll have to keep checking them out, but thanks for the heads up. I knew that Nismo had some toys I'd like!!!

Peace

Sport Z had the Stillin producing the most HP/TQ then Borla with 2nd most HP but the 2nd or 3rd to lowwest TQ (with only 3 I think) then something else then Nismo (only pulled 7 hp from the nismo)

I had the Nismo Be4 my Borla, and it does sound 100X better. But I had alot of problems with mine. It rattles on the rear cross member, it puts alot of pressure on your cats so if you have HF cats it can cause them to crack (made mine crack) and I found out later down the road that the FLEX sections of the y-pipe broke. So ya the sound is awesome but the problems were not....

I have borla TD (with resonators) with TPs and its loud, id imagine that without resonators it would be way too loud, so id only do this if you have stock cats (maybe high flows) or want it extremely loud...

I've been wondering what it sounds like without those resonators...Thank you for the clip. I think one of my resonators have been causing some rattling noise. Maybe I'll these resonators removed as well!

I have borla with non-resonated test pipes and it is actually pretty quiet IMO! Don't get much in-cabin noise. With the windows down I can deff hear it, but it is NOT EVEN CLOSE to how loud my Nismo was on resonated test pipes.

Do you feel the performance has gone down or up from doing this?

I kinda liked the Z sound too and wanted it louder but not the Pep boys "cherry bomb" special loud.....after some looking and research, I settled on the Stillen SS catback which I have to say, is very nice. It went nicely with my injen intake....slightly louder, deeper tone but still keeps the "essential" Z tone overall. When it's WOT, you'll hear it.....I'll try to get some sound clips for anyone who's interested.

I had megan TP's and they cracked at the welds! What can you expect for $90 though!

I still have them, I think I will go have a shop weld them and and see if the can re-enforce them. They sounded alot better than my non-resonated.

Had mine done yesterday. Sound is awesome, and it feels like I gained 15 more HP. I was going to have my muffler gave flange the res and pipe to interchange them whenever I wanted. Instead he made a direct fit on pipe just like borla. Just pull out the Res tubing, drop his pipes in and clamp up. I asked about selling them to people. I can get them to anyone for 115 shipped. This way when you sell the car you can sell the exhaust with no mods to it.

^ good idea! If I can get my muffler off (it is stuck to all hell and even with kicking it, it will not come off) and it sounds good I was going to have some pipes made up to just slip on and clamp to the back so it looks stock.
