Default Which exhaust + HFC is quieter than Injen TD?

I currently have the Injen TD straight-tip exhaust installed on my car, with stock cats and headers. A few months ago I had test pipes on the car as well, and it was just WAY too loud for a daily driver, for me at least. It probably didn't help that the Injen is LOUD and very deep to start with

Anyway, I've been kicking around the idea of maybe selling the Injen, or trying to trade it, for a quieter exhaust, and possibly in the future, some HFC... the jury is still out on those though, in my experience they all have a nasty hissing/air rushing noise on deceleration that I'm not a huge fan of.

So here's the question: For those of you who have heard several exhausts in person: What exhaust (if any), coupled with HFC, will be quieter and less bass-y / deep than the Injen by itself? From what I've seen so far, it looks like:

Nismo
Borla TD
Fujitsubo

I'd like some input from people who have heard these exhausts with HFC's.

Borla is like stock, but not as mellow and more bassy. Nismo will be much higher pitched than Borla-which I love but some dont. Fujitsubo is so so IMO. Sounds like you want a Borla to me...

Alberto, I know you used to have TP / Injen... how's the Borla w/ HFC compare to it?

Completely differet beasts. The Injen with TP's was VERY loud and didnt have that mellow Z tone, it was raspy and rumbled. The Borla + HFC is like a stock Z, but slightly more bassy and IMO less high pitched, unlike the Nismo which is slightly louder than stock on the high pitch spectrum The Borla is not my flavor, but many love it, and for the price, its like a sore d!ck-you cant beat it

When you say the Injen with TP's was loud, you weren't kidding! I couldn't believe it when I had mine installed... SOO deep, with pops, burbles, and just a general mean-*** sound, but WAY too loud for a daily driver. I'm sure my neighbors loved me coming home at 1 in the morning from work also.

Sorry for all the questions... have you heard a Nismo with HFC's? Is it anywhere near the loudness of the Injen? Louder than Borla?

Now to find someone local with a Borla to listen to... I need to hook up with some locals to hear these in person...

Remember the charts published by Sport Z magazine? Sound level at 3,000 rpm:

Injen: 99db
NISMO: 95db
Stillen: 93db
Borla: 92db

For quiet Borla is a clear choice.

I have the Kinetix HFC/Nismo combo. This setup is very controllable...you can keep her below 2.5k and the noise is extremely reasonable. When you really open her up though, it gets loud (Alberto's description was right on...the Borla is much more "bassy" and lower pitched, not in a good way IMHO. It just seems like too little change for too much effort)...this is all relative of course. My neighbor has the Injen TD with Kinetix resonated TPs, and lemme tell you, when I drive/go for a ride in his car and hop into mine after, my HFC/Nismo combo sounds like stock again.

I measured my stock 06 Z sound level at 80db at 3,000 no load RPM. Adding Ultimate Racing HFC's to the otherwise stock exhaust took it to 88db @ 3,000 r's.
