Default HELP! Broke something during popcharger Install!

Guys,

I installed my JWT Popcharger the other day! SWEEET!

However, in the process, I broke off one of the 4 arms on the plastic pipe where the MAF sensor is screwed onto.

The popcharger is working fine but for precautions I want replace this part especially since it is the arm where the bracket attaches to.

I've included pictures to show what piece I'm talking about.

The pics are not mine, if they need to be taken down please let me know.

I'd appreciate any help in this matter. I couldnt find the piece searching the web.

Thanks!

- PAUL

You need to buy a whole new MAF housing which includes the MAF sensor. You cannot purchase just the housing itself, you can purchase the sensor itself seperately, but not the housing. We have the MAF housing instock, they retail at $488.19, of course for a forum member we can give you a discount.

check the classifieds and ebay...it would suck to buy a new maf as well. (If you have to, just sell the Maf after).

If you want a cheap solution, get some JB weld and fix the broken peice...the main thing is to make sure it's a good seal (to make sure air is not by-passing the filter)...but since it there's a pressure drop over the filter, it's not too hard to get a good seal if it's flush.

Unfortunatly the housing is only available when purchasing the Mass Air Flow Sensor.

Usually forum members sell them after they get an intake that has a built in mass air flow housing (K&N etc...)

As Andy stated above, the price is pretty high for the new MAF.

Good luck!

there are a few intakes that relocate the sensor into their tube, that would be a cheaper alternative
