Well this took a while and my fingers are a bit sore. I will post pics tomorrow after the swelling goes down.

Operation Horse power begin

Youll need a 12mm,13mm, and especailly a 14mm deep socket to remove the headers. You will also need a 14mm zip wrench to tighten the header bolts since it is a tight squeeze. Don't forget the cheater bar to loosen the bolts.

the right side is easy to get to the bolts but hard to remove the header out of the location because of the steering column in the way. With a bit of time and creativity, it is possible to remove and install the header without removing the steering column bar.

The left side needs the radiator hose and pipe to be removed. There is a long water rail that connects to the engine block. One 12mm screw holds the pipe in.

I removed all the warter hoses including vaccuum lines which take about an hour to remove because the rubber hosing is dried a bit.

Remove the o2 sensors

Weighed everything and you save about 15 or more pounds

The cats especially are heavy

No brainer here

haha. I wish my car always looked like this

Thumbs up

I like the maintenance-in-the-alley thing. Too many members post photos of 800 square foot air conditioned garages. I cannot relate. This is hardcore. This is cool.

overall it wasn't so hard. Just the tight squeeze. It took about 6 hours of constant work. I spread it out over 3 days.

With 2 people I belive I could do it in 4 hours.

The race pipe and y pipe could be done in 1 hour.

Horse power gains.......Phenominal
Sound......Sounds like a ferrari since I kept my stock exhaust.

It's pretty cool, when I idle, it sounds like stock, but when you stomp it, it really makes a pleasing sound. Quite shocking at first, after 24 hours I want more!

It does have a certain resonation at 4k rpm which does sound like modena.

Anyone who needs any help with the install, I charge 2 flames per question...lol jk.

Good job, man. Good time as well. I think I'd take the air conditioned garage though!

Forget the six pack . . . six hours over three days . . . that calls for a keg!

BTW, how about some sound clips!?

So that was all the tools you needed, no jack stands? no other difficult parts besides new radiator fluid?

Damn I have the same parts gathering dust hear.. I need to get to it. Did you do the non-foulers or didn't need them?

Flame away homie.

I used jack stands just in case the car fell but you dont need them.

Also get a set of extensions for your ratchet. They really come in handy.

I just filled the radiator back up with water. It only let about 20% of the fluid out.
