Default SKUNK2 5/8" on Rev-UP

Does anybody have this combo? I ordered it, then realized it was 5/8", not 5/16" like the MD. Just want to make sure it won't damage my engine or cause a loss in power,

you more than likely won't be able to use the stock sway bar thats in the engine. I believe the most you can go with keeping the stock bar is 5/16th. I'm not sure about the power though, you will probably only gain about 2-3 hp.

I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't affect it negatively because it is so big. I need to read a little better before I buy stuff . I have a G35, so the strut tower brace wont be a problem for me.

i know for the z the 6/16th spacer gets between 11-13hp and the 1/2inch gets 12-14. Now you are a little bit bigger than half so i'm not 100% sure on how much difference that will have.

I have this combo. I installed an mrev2 first then the skunk2 spacer. After the mrev2 install I felt very little but when I added the spacer I felt a very noticeable gain. I then sold my injen exhaust and pop-charger and used that money for a utec and felt even more power. I haven't tuned the utec yet but on the map they supply it runs a lot stronger. My mods are utec, stillen tp's, k@n drop in filter, sun hyper force system, skunk2 and mrev2. You can't use your strut bar but you can use the cover with a little trimming. Actually, as much as I fiddle with the motor I'm glad I don't have the strut bar on cause its always in the way. Also, I only drag the car and really didn't feel a difference in steering with it un-installed. If it bothers you, you can find used Crawford bars for around $100 or so that will work.

SKUNK2 claims 10hp, but I don't know if that is on the REV-up or the non Rev-Up

Review the charts at motordyne. Spacers alter horsepower and torque differently. You will see that taller is not necessarily better.
