Default NISMO CAI or Exhaust

I want to add both but cant decide which to add first, or if I should get greddy side skirts.

Anyone have pics of their engine bay with the nismo intake installed?

I've been thinking about upgrading the exhaust too. Just how big of a difference is there in sound between the stock and the nismo?

CAI, exhaust, then side skirts

i would say the nismo exhaust is noticably louder and deeper than stock, but exhaust sounds r very subjective, so me saying that probably doesnt really mean anything. u should go to a meet and hear it in person or at least listen to sound clips online. http://www.everything350z.com/exhaust.html

If you have the budget, I would do both at the same time and save the money on the shipping. We have both items in stock.

Sorry, I dont have any pics installed but Im sure you can find one on the boards if you do a search. If you were to purchase the two seperately, you would have to pay freight for each item where if you purchase it together, we can put the intake box inside the exhaust box and only charge you the shipping of the exhaust. Shoot me a PM when you are ready to purchase and we can work something out.

For the price of the Nismo CAI I would go: PopCharger & MotorDyne 5/16th spacer with Nismo exhaust and get more gains. Just my two cents.

The MD Spacer will not do much for the Rev Up motor unless you mated with the MREV2, then you will notice a difference, well worth the money in my opinion. I just had my original MREV replaced with the MREV2, definitely noticed a harder pull on the top end and the area under the curve did feel smoother.

My very first mod was an AEM CAI (same as the Nismo). I loved it and the sound difference will statisfy you long enough to save up $ for the exhaust. Then go for body work.

Then you have a non Rev Up engine so this concept does not apply. You can use the spacer alone. Like the above mentioned post, it is porbably the best bang for your buck to get the MD 5/16th Iso Thermal Spacer kit with a JWT Pop Charger and the NISMO exhaust.

my first mod was the nismo exhaust then a short ram intake. The exhaust itself is a bit deeper but you can tell the difference if youre standin outside the car the most. It sounds MEAN!!

The good thing about Motordyne products is that it comes with a detailed installation guide with pictures. If you are not mechanically inclined then Id recommend having a professional install it but if you know how to install an intake, the plenum spacer shouldnt be too difficult.

This would be a good install to start learning on how to install basic bolt ons on your car but if you dont want to go through the hassle and the chance of messing up the install, Id recommend taking it to a shop.

Thank You!!! Thank You!!! LOL I'm here all night. J/K

Seriously I bought the PopCharger, 5/16th spacer w/ ISO gasket, APS Test Pipes, & UR Crank pulley w/ Gates belts and gained 17whp and 10wtq. Everything cost $800. These are the best bang for the buck mods hands down imo. A cat-back exhaust won't give you this much gains and cost $1k+.
