Default stupid rubber exhaust hangers

I just wanted to let everyone know that I hate those rubber exhaust hangers. How does one "more easily" take off the muffler without cursing so loud the neighbors will call the cops.

why do people insist on doing it the hard way?

9 bolts and youll have the hanger supports off the car. You wont have to hassle the supports from underneath the vehicle.

Just remove the hanger supports (3 10mm bolts on rear, a 10mm bolt on RR and another bolt on the B pipe) itll make it easier to take the hangers/supports off the stock exhaust and transfer them the new exhuast.

once off the car, use wd-40 and the twist method to get the hangers off the supports.

Silicone spray (like that Wet N' Black stuff they sell for tires at Wal-Mart) will lube it up better than WD-40. Little squirt of that stuff and it'll slide off so easy you'll be wanting to keep a bottle in the nightstand.

use the black stuff. its better than WD40. liquid wrench is nice too
Pull the hang back and forth so the lube goes inside and u can also use a wrench and hit the hanger and the liquid will seep inside. Once you get it off, use lithium grease on the hanger so it comes off ez next time. I change exhausts alot lol

I use a pry bar, using the exhaust pipes coming out of the muffler as the fulcrum and the old muffler falls on my chest in about 30 seconds.

I used liquid wrench, it still took a lot of work. I'll say it now, "I'm not modding my next car...at all".

I didn't use any tools. It just takes time, patience and a lot of lube just like **** sex.
