Default Titanium 3inch exhaust???? oh yeah!!!

Just trying to see who would be interested in a 3inch full titanium exhaust with dual tips. It will weigh aprox. 19.5lbs. This thing is awesome and like I said is a dual canaster set up like the Nismo for example only instead of one big canaster in the middle it will have 2 small ones. This exhaust would be perfect for the turbonetics guys or any other turbo app. I would probably set up a group buy for this for its launch at 10 buyers at $2000 shipped or split shipping. Just trying to see if I have the interest in this ultra light ultra hot exhaust. Thank you.

Company? Sound clips? Not many will jump on this unfortunately including myself without much backing/reviews and a high price doesn't help either.

2k is actually very good for a titanium quality exhaust, not to mention its 3 inches, should have even better flow than the amuse....but hows the sound ?

It has to be installed and documented before anyone will jump on this bus.

The design looks good though, like the Amuse.

Why are people so suprised at the cost of a full Ti exhaust? You want to play, you have to pay. Full titanium costs buku dollars. The Fuji Ti is close to $2k. Isn't the Amuse version like $6k?

Yes Ti is very expensive material. The Amuse is 2300-2500k.

The one thing that I dont understand about the Amuse is the fact that there are bends in it. From my knowledge I thought Ti couldnt be bent or it will really lose strength

Not sure I'm crazy about the design...

Why not go with a single exit instead of adding all those bends and the weird split near the mufflers...
?

2k is good for a FULL TITANIUM exhaust. However for the turbo guys, they would probably wanna go TD. There are already many 3" single exhausts out there. Maybe the single turbo guys would like this...

What is the pipe diameter after the mid-pipe splits for the 2 mufflers?

60mm? Not really a smooth split IMHO...

Its hard to mandrel bend TI... but just as hard to weld it...

The amuse to compare...

According to the Bullet/JIC catalog, the JIC type 2 titanium also utilizes 3" piping. The type 2 ti is a bit cheaper than some of the other Japanese titanium exhausts but it doesn't include a y-pipe.

Which part is 3", the midpipe or the individual sections after the split? It definitely has a lot more welded sections than the Amuse. The Amuse midpipe is 3", individual sections are 2.25", and the piping is 1mm. The Amuse hangers are hollow. As far as looks go, I don't know if I'd shell out $2k for it. Looks a little rough... I do like the angle-cut tips though.

id be offended if made an exhaust and someone compared it to the JIC bullet, all their products are complete crap that fall apart. 2k for a TI exhaust sounds pretty good.
