Default Lebree Test Pipe Owners Feedbak

I hear these are the test pipes to go with. I love the sound of my car so I don't want to alter it too much. Give me any feedback on how they worked for you and are they a worthy mod. Thanks

when i installed my lebrees i definitely noticed the power diffrence right away. theres not much rasp to deal with, just when the car is cold you get a bit of rasp from 3000 to 3500rpm. but all in all, im very happy that i went with lebree and i wouldnt change them for any other company!!! imo

Labree is a copy of Fast Intentions.
I designed these as an independent contractor when I worked there over three years ago. It just eats me up that he is still trying to make a profit off of my design. That all aside, we carry them and if you are interested, check out our website.

Also here are some pictures of what ours look like:

I have LaBrees on my car and they are great! You can get them directly from LaBree themselves. They've lowered the price a lot over the years. I believe they're only $325 now.

You will find 10 different sound clips. The car you hear has Res. Test Pipes and our Intimidator exhaust system...Tony

Cheaper,This is true! I guess you get what you pay for. Labree Motorsports Has litlle to no product knowledge about the Z33 whatsoever. He doesn't know the meaning of quality control either. But if you want to buy from him, more power to you...Tony

Well, I guess that is how the world works sometimes. Patents are also very time consuming and tricky.

Will fast intentions resonated test pipes rasp with the Nismo Exhaust?

Also, is your exhaust lighter than stock? Seems to perform better than my Nismo, but my Nismo shaved 9lbs off the stock weight.

That exhaust sounds great though, was that car stock?

Our sound clip car is an 06 Rev Up, and was bone stock with the exception of our Res. Teat Pipes and Cat Back.

Our Stainless Steel Cat Back is 5 Lbs. lighter then stock and is a True Dual. If you want to compare our Res, Test Pipes to the stock cats, shave another 15-20 Lbs.

I honestly don't know if they will rasp with your Nismo. I don't know the Nismo all that well but from what I ahve been told, it is a raspy system to begin with.

Its cool Bro. I am not trying to attack you, and I am sure you know the history between Labree and Fast Intentions.

I had the very first LaBree test-pipes and LaBree resonated test-pipes installed three years ago.

The review is here with dynos:

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ghlight=labree

As for where you should get these pipes now, I'll just say both Brett and Tony are good guys. My experience was with Brett with Tony on Brett's crew. I think you get good quality work from either shop. Brett is stand up. Tony does excellent work and is a sponsor. The decision is up to you. But, whatever the case, I strongly recommend that you get the resonated pipes as the non-resonated pipes are too raspy.

I have those dyno charts too, Considering I was the the one who dynoed your car. Anyways, thanks for the positive feedback...Tony

Sorry if I sound offending, but what is wrong with someone making money off a design he paid an independent contractor 3 years ago to make?

I can understand if he "stole" the idea without paying you. But I don't see him doing anything wrong here since you were a paid contractor there. In my opinion they should make money from your paid-for design.

Not offending at all. I understand where you are coming from, but from my personal, and professional issue with Labree I don't agree with you. Enough about this. I started it, and I am ending it. I high jacked this thread and for that I am sorry...Tony

C'mon guys, this LaBree <-> Fast Intentions thing has been discussed to death.

Tony has conducted himself pretty professionally here, without directly trashing anyone. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Lets just leave it at that.

The original poster asked about LaBrees, we have some info on some alternatives. IMO whichever way you go, LaBree or Fast Intentions, you will be getting a quality product. I think hfm said it best, we've both has good experiences with LaBree. Tony has a great rep around here, and he is a board sponsor. So the choice is yours.
