Default HAs Anyone had any trouble/bad stories installing their mrev2?

I'm planning on getting the mrev2 for my 2005 non reve up motor and i've been searching the forums and read that a couple members have had some bad stories installing their mrev2? is it that difficult? i only installed an intake before so i don't know how hard it would be to install an mrev2? should i rather get it installed? A nissan dealer told me 180 dollars to get it installed. please help.

The worst thing that can happen is you drop a bolt somewhere and it either falls into the engine or the engine bay.

If you're careful this won't happen.

A long magnetic pickup tool can be handy in case of a f--ck up

I just installed mine about a month ago. It wasn't too bad. The only thing that I found annoying was all the hoses and stuff that had to be disconnected from the upper plenum, but that might have had more to do with me wanting to completely remove the thing rather than just flip it over. Definitely take your time, read through the directions, make sure you have the correct tools, etc. (Like an inch-lbs. torque wrench)

On a scale of 1-10:

1 being changing rear signal lights and 10 being a turbo kit, the install would probably be a 3-4. Get the right tools, becareful, read the directions and if you have questions, ask members on this board or Tony @ MD, he's very helpful.

And like wired said, don't drop bolts, it's a biatch. Cover your engine with a clean rag after taking out the lower plenum just in case.

Almost forgot: the REAL worst thing that can happen is you overtorque / strip bolts

INCH-POUNDS , *not* foot pounds
