And yes, the stock strut bar will fit!
Why not use the 1/2 spacer + mrev2 on the revups if your willing to change strut bars? Not enough gain for the money?

Default I called Motordyne

I called Motordyne and the guy I talked with told me that the MREV2 would give gains but NOT in the same place as the REVUP engine. He said the gains for the REVUP engine are in the mid-range area, 4000-4500 RPM but for the 287 HP engine would be in the higher revs. Cant remember what he said about torque other than that it compensates for the lower torque in the REVUP engine.

I asked him about the thermal option and he said they don't claim gains because it would be almost impossible to measure in real life conditions but that the simulation models they have done predict the prevention of loss due to heat soak.

My plan is to go with both the MREV2 and the 5/16 spacer, an exhaust later on and then a reflash. Mods after that will be a nav unit and door or kick panel pods for the front speakers.

I have been searching this a lot lately, and yes, it has been extremely confusing. The above "Formula" is awesome and should be a sticky...it's what I have been leaning towards from the info i've seen lately.
