Exclamation ** Before and After Dyno of HFCs? **

Does anyone have a set of dyno sheets (before and after) showing the power to be gained from a set of high flow cats? I semi-remember seeing this before but after extensive searching I couldn't find it.

Thanks,
Anthony

No more than 5whp peak. Waste of $$$ IMO, do test-pipes or stay stock

They don't net much by themselves, but a tune might help you out.

I could show you before and after dynos (sorta) but they were not done on the same day, or under identical conditions, and they were done on different dynos. So there's no point...

Nobody is going to post before and after of 1 mod, especially this mod unless its the makers of the HF cats and then the #'s will be inflated. They barely do anything, do some research on this site, Id never spend $$$ on HF cats...

Bang for the buck TP's perform much better, but for certain emission laws HFC's might be better suited.

**screw the system run full exhaust** haha

Those claiming test pipes are so good.....where's the proof?

Talk is cheap.

I see all kinds of posts about rasp, smell, cracking, fart cans, CEL etc. with TP's.......this is better?

Dont talk smack unless you've tried it. Mine doesnt smell, crack, sound like a fart can or throw a CEL with the proper setup.

The HF cats I used(kinetix) are more free flowing than stock, and quieter than TPs. I think, however, that this may be more important (add more HP) on a TT setup than NA.

...just reflecting what those withTP's have posted. All current and past cars without cat's (with internal combustion gas engines) smell. If your car with TP's doesn't, either shlt doesn't stink or you can't smell. We know the former isn't true.
