Question How can I tell if I have an Exhaust leak?

I got my DC headers installed by street image. i thought the install went fine and everything was good. i dynoed it and ran leaner than my last dyno. i thought..okay. it must be that the headers are just leaning out my car. so i emailed technosqaure and they are saying that i might have a leak. but wouldn't i hear a leak?

get water and put some window cleaner in it, spray or pour it on the joints and gaskets of the system. than start the car there will be bubble where the leak is

You COULD hear a leak, but headers will lean you out a bit.

You may want to have teh bolts re-torqued. I had mine re-done about 3 weeks after install jsut for safety...but never a leak.

Are you doing anything for A/F tuning?

i was thinking about going to technosqaure and have them do a reflash (which is hard enough as it is because they are only open on the weekdays)or just get a emanage and have shawn church tune it. i'm on a marriage budget so i can't afford anything really expensive.

do you have nay suggestions or places to go?

If the header to motor seal is not tight, the exhaust is loud. Very loud.

The SS Box is perfectly fine..no other box needed if your staying between 500HP-550HP.

Shawn did a first tune fo rme, and I have augmented since then. I still have to go back for baseline and tech info dyno needs...one of these days...

ANyway - PM me and let me know when you want to get together...Rick
