Ok, I did a search and didnt find anything so dont tell me to search.
I want to know if anyone ever put up a post on how to take the bumper off and install the intake. The reason why I dont want to go get it installed is because i want to enjoy working on my car a little bit and second is because I dont want to pay 120 bux for installation. So if anyone know or has a pix on how to do it I would greatly appriciate it.
THANX!

Why CAI?? Just leave it as SRi....this has been talked about before where the CAI at times even takes some small HP away....SRi is more effective. I've raced 2 Z's with Injen in CAI mode and i beat them both with my Injen in SRi...no joke....and you save having to take the bumper off

I have the same intake injen cai.I installed it with the short ram at first its sounds louder(which is good).I was continplating how to take off the bumper also.so after a week I decided to go on with it,left the bumper on just took off 3 clips on the top of the bumper then I was able to take out the stock scoop.the hard part is running the rubberized injen tube thru the hole and down.so what I did,I greesed up the tube enough just so iam able to manipulate it thru that opening.worked out good.only thing you got to think about is the rain or water from washing the car cus you'll definitely wet the filter element unless you get a air bypass.I commute with the car a lot mostly in freeway so with that cold air helps with the performance a lot.either sai,or cai you can definitely feel the difference from stock.goodluck.

^ from my understanding from researching this forum was that getting the filter wet is fine...the tube is waaay to far down and long for the water to do any damage....just don't get it sumerged in a puddle....now that is bad
