Default Megan headers are junk with picture

Do not buy these piles of poo. I thought i could get by on a set of cheap headers untill i turbo the car. Nope. My drive home from picking the car up the damn weld broke on the header at the collector ( where the pipes merge together). I dont have the money for new ones so im going to take it off and get the whole thing rewelded. If you do buy them make sure you get them rewelded before they go on the car. The nismo knock off exhaust i got doesnt sound bad either. By the way, it only took me an hour to pull it off heh.

I have not really heard anything too positive about their products other than the price... sorry to hear.

Call Megan and make them refund you!! I remember about a year back Megan totally crashed a yellow 350z into a tree (with no excuse of a turn or drift as it was going straight) !!!! after that I knew not to trust that brand ..

+1 I have been running a set of their y-pipes for about 15k now on the s/c Z and they have held up great. Welds and quality where not so bad either. Just put them on there temporarily to save up some cash for the JIC y-pipe. I would not go any further then that though. They don't have a good reputation on this site and sometimes you do get what you pay for. That sux, headers are a pita too GL

yeah, when I was in the Honda scene, many of them got the Megan products from ebay, more so the headers since they were extremely cheap. On a $30k car, I would spend a little more for quality.

^ lol, too true. Thing is, certain Megan products seem ok. Like their BBK got a pretty good review in the brakes and suspension forum.
