Default What is it called...

I tried searching but I don't really know what to call it.

What I want is to have a switch inside that will change the exhaust from stock to a straight pipe. You guys know what I'm talking about? What is that "valve" called that diverts the exhaust from the stock system to the straight pipes.

I have no idea what you are talking about. The only thing like that I've seen is a turbo bypass dump that people run on F/I cars. They can bypass the exhaust system and run "open headers" from the downpipe.

you will need ear plugs/ ear defenders. you won't be able to stand it without them.
there used to be a manually controlled switch,(the only kind I have seen used personally) but you would have to search for that.

Yeah......Mr. high school student....I bet you've "restored" a lot of cars.

You are the same one who claimed that you had an engine swap done to your Z. You didn't.
You also claimed your Z has over 400hp. It doesn't.
You also said your Z had Greddy hi-flow cats AND test pipes. Impossible.

Get a life and quit making BS claims. You don't look cool, you look stupid.

I think some kid had it dump straight out the bottom and posted a video of it, I'll try and find it. Nevertheless, the camera wouldn't be able to capture the true loudness of the exhaust.

im callin BS on the 600+ rwhp unless it has FI, and if he knows so much about restoring cars he should be able to look at his Z and know whats on it.
