Default Aem intake + kinetix plenum = loss of power?

hello everyone, im kinda new on this forum, i bought my parts before i saw all this info about losing power with a cold air intake when combined with a plenum/spacer. So far i have a borla TD, aem cold air intake, and kinetix intake plenum, i love the way it sounds all together, and i think it felt better after each mod? Should i get a pop charger instead? i plan on getting test pipes and a clutch and flywheel next.

i dunno... did you dyno your car?
You are doing good man, poop charger its actully way more of a sound noise mod and looks than anything else, the cai, even if not much, will still make more power than the pop charger...
also, i dont think you lost, any power if anything its probably unnoticable really..and would only on the lower end....eventually once you get your car tuned with this mods you will gain quiet decent power. IMO you should get an ECU adn tunning b4 the clutch and flywheel... unless you got good amount of miles on your clutch it should last you a good amount of time

Did you review the Sport-Z Magazine Plenum vs Plenum Spacer Shoot Out before buying a upper plenum?

I take your word but a before and after dyno would be better than a butt dyno.

I posted awhile back about a loss in 1/4 mi trap speeds with a CAI+plenum spacer vs. short ram intake+spacer...IMO, just convert your AEM CAI to a short ram.
