Put on a Popcharger and a Nismo exhaust tonight, this thing sounds AWESOME. I bet me and my son just woke up half of our town. I want to go riding around now but need to sleep.

I have the same setup plus the 5/16th plenum spacer. WOT sounds even better w/ the plenum spacer...if you can believe that...and it's a great performance mod. I suggest WOT in a tunnel. You'll drive back and forth through it till you run out of gas.

if u think the nismo exhaust woke half the town, then my invida n1 woulda woken the entire town.

 

Nismo Exhaust with HFC = twice as loud
Nismo Exhaust with TP = EMBARASSINGLY loud

Nismo gets LOUD wither aftermarket cats or TP...man I miss my Nismo Exhaust=(

 

LOL Yesterday, a pickup was parked behind my Z. When I started my Z (headers, test pipes & Injen TD), the freakin' alarm on the truck went off! I didn't even get a chance to rev it up since I got out of there as fast as I can!

 

Yeah I LOVE TUNNELS going WOT. Such a high! I love my exhaust and popcharger combo, it's not as loud as others but it sounds perfect! Deeper stock rumble. Wonder how intense power resonated test pipes will alter my sound, hopefully just make everything deeper without too much of a rasp...

 

I dont wanna be embarassingly loud, I have the Nismo exhaust and am thinking about getting intense power resonated test pipes... guess I need to find someone with this set up and hear it...

My friend commented on how my setup sounds M3ish. The little bit of rasp from the test pipes at WOT with the stock exhaust sounds pretty mean.

Pop and Nismo sound perfect in every way wide open thru a tunnel.

Wish it sounded that way without the tunnel.

 

If you get the test pipes, let us know how bad the rasp is.

I like the idea of high flow cats or maybe resonated TP's but I just keep hearing about rasp, no rasp, rasp, no rasp, smell, don't smell, smoke, don't smoke, rattle, don't rattle, crack, don't crack and all just different peoples views on the same setups.
