Default APS Test Pipe Q

I have the APS Test pipes on my car (2.25) and i am N/A. I plan on staying N/A. At the time i got the test pipes i was planning on going Turbo. My Q is, if i end up getting headers, Y pipe, and putting on my nismo catback...should i swap my test pipes for a set of Heliex scence they are a lil smaller and are meant for N/A? I feel i lost a lot of TQ...and i have a strange feeling that if i had the helix i would be better of. Help.....

Have you had a dyno to prove this loss of torque? The APS TP btw are 2.5'' in/out and adding a 2.25'' in/2.5'' out wont make a difference. With TP you loose 2-3 trq below 3k rpm which i doubt you'd even feel. After 3k rpm, the average gain is between 5 and 9 trq!

First I say wait on the headers till you are truely set on staying N/A. I go back & forth ever week. ALso I don't see you having any problems with the APS TP with the Nismo cat-back. Might want to do more research on this set-up though. I don't think I've read one post that someone enjoyed their TP/HFC & Nismo exhaust. It tends to be loud. As far as power lost that was mentioned, I disagree. When I installed my APS TP w/ my other mods it free up my torque lost. It also now has an awesome note w/ the stock headers & cat-back. I get compliments all the time about my exhaust. I have vids if you like.
