I'd get one. You won't even notice the angles with the car as low as it is. Those are some pretty good gains that were recorded.\

Someone tell me where I can get one and I'll be the guinea pig.

I know, it's not out 'till April. Wait, tomorrow is April.

Where can I get this for $779.99? That seems like a sweet deal for the power gained.

It's loud and it has major gains.

I'll take it.

The Z won't be quieter when it gets twins.
I'll tell you why, the turbocharger itself acts as a muffler. Therefore, it would be quieter if you had a turbocharged car.

Now to everyone saying that the exhaust is "ricey" because it is angled, what's the deal with this? Is it because you see it on civics and **** like that? You realize that these angled exhausts do serve a purpose, there are physics involved in it that allow it to perform better. If I'm not mistaken, those angled exhausts you see on riced cars came were produced after some riceboys saw them on some nice cars.

If it was only in Titanium... it would cost a $hitload but would be much lighter.

Burnoutz is sort of right, turbos quiet down exhaust gases because they recirculate them to spin the turbine and to make more power... The only reason they may be louder is because larger exhausts are usually put on turbo'd cars to allow for greater exhaust flow, but all things equal turbo'd cars are usually quieter than their N/A counterparts.

Ugh, I hate to be harsh, but why can't people read? JimH originally said, and has repeated many times that the 18hp was gained in the low to mid range of the powerband, at low revs, and it gained about 8hp at redline.

Stop scanning posts for numbers and the letters HP and read the message board! This is like the 10th time I've seen someone mention the 18hp from the GHL exhaust.

/harsh off

NOPI (www.nopi.com) has it listed for the 350Z on their website.

At that price I'll take one too, but I do remember the original thread on this exhaust where the Injen guy said it was more than that.

Here's what Ryan said in the other thread:

The MSRP is $975.00 for this dual exhaust, part number SES1985RS. We do not sell to the public so the retail to the end consumer will usually vary. See our dealer list.

The turbo changes the sound, but it's still loud. Either way I like this exhaust and I don't mind it loud.

The canisters and tips are ugly, IMO. Why do they have to be that big? Answer? They don't. This is an NA application, not a turbo exhaust.

I got an email from Ryan who said they are not making the stk style exhaust because it made little power, so they will only be selling the exhaust with the grapefruit shooters.

He said this exhaust will be ready late April.

Thumbs up

Well I for one am IMPRESSED! It sounds just fine, not ricey, actually kinda exotic! BUT...WTF!?! is going on with these tips? Uhhhhhhh? I see very easily where they are making better numbers than anyone thus far just by the design and angles alone. How are they gonna remedy the appearance and prevent smoke & **** from accumilating on the rear bumper? I am VERY interested in this piece.

i was thinking the same thing tx, sounds pretty good, good #s, but wtf is going on with those tips ... it looks pretty fugly. of course i want performance #s, but appearance is also a big factor if im going to spending around $1000 bux for an exhaust. if they fix the tips, ill probably pick one of them up.

Dat's true, I was mainly responding to those people who thought angled mufflers were "ricey".
