Default Injen dual exhaust

Here is a pic...

A little to "ricey" for me with the angled-out cannisters. Injen claims the highest hp and tq of any exhaust for the 350Z currently on the market. 17.4hp and 15.7 ft/lb tq.

that look to ricey but if they turned it so it points back not at a 45degree angle it would look much nicer
and also is it for sale? or is it a prototype thing thats not coming out until june?
and whats the price?
and is the HP at cranck or at the wheels?

thats what I was thinking, and wouldnt be suprised if it did get better gains.

doing the bend to the side, and back straight is just more restriction. that might be functional rice.

It looks rice but because of the muffler size and the under-vehicle restrictions I don't think they can oriented in any other way.

If you take a closer look you can see that the exhaust tubes are surrounded by suspension parts.

Hey guys this system is coming out in april and the cheapest price I found was $779.99 here is the link for Injen.

http://www.injen.com/350z_testing.html

p.s. Ryant(vice-president of Injen) email me saying that the tips are gonna be fix, so there is not gonna be black smoke in the rear bumper!

How is that rice? Apexi, Tanabe and other Jap exhaust companies have the same style mufflers on Skylnes, EVOs, WRXs, Supras and they are great exausts.

I like the Injen exaust a lot. I guess I just don't like the stk style muffler. It looks too conservative and weak. I like the true dual exhaust to look like the Injen's or the Greedy exhaust.

It seems like many Z owners like the Stealin, Amuse style exhaust.

I just think you guys sound like domestic car owners calling this exhaust "rice".

Just my $0.02.

OK, fair enough. How about this... that exhaust is f**king ghey. Who the f**k wants a couple of grapefruit shooters on the Z? Not I. The canisters and tips look stupid AND ricey.

I wonder if it sounds like fart-can Civic **** just like the Stillen exhaust? As much as people hate on domestics around here, I'd MUCH RATHER my Z sound like a V8 than a four banger. The Fujitsubo Legalis R seems to have the best rumble so far.

Hmmm...OK, did you click in the link I post, theres 2 videos for you to hear the sound, in my opinion, there are nothing to do with Civic's.

You beat me to it webcarconnection.

droidekaus- watch the video and you'll be proven wrong. The car sounds pretty exotic and videos never sound the same as the real thing.

The gay exhaust is the stk style exhaust, but that's just my opinion. I'm not one to modify my cars with stk looking parts or having the "sleeper look". "F" that, if I'm gonna modify my car, people are gonna know it.

What do you think is gonna happen when the Z is turbocharged. It's gonna be a loud ****.

To each it's own.

Note that I said, "I wonder..." I didn't see the videos, but now that I've gone back and watched them, NO THANKS. Sounds like an S2000 with a Tanabe exhaust.

Im not trying to be an *** or start anything. But, my first impression is this.

a) great gains, Im really impressed
b) it sounds exactly like a small airplane reving up Check out the second video and you'll see what I mean. My folks live behind a small private airport and that is EXACTLY what I hear all day long when Im visiting.

Regardless, I dont give a crap about the sound when its throwing down that much power.

I'm glad they actually dyno their stuff, instead of putting out systems and expecting us to do their testing. I mean, why do these companies think we're buying their products? I'm not buying an intake for the look of it.

That said, I'll stick with my Power Enterprise.

How's that? Ever hear a turbo'd car (4 or 6 cyl) with full 3" exhaust at WOT? It's not that quiet.

My 99 GS-t had a full 3" turbo-back and it was nasty at WOT. TT Supras, RX-7's, ZX's, EVOs, WRXs aren't quiet when they have aftermarket exhausts.

The Z won't be quieter when it gets twins.
