From: Where I have yet to cross another Lemans Z!?
one thing to keep in mind guys, the pics that we are seeing are from underneath the Z! so the cans do look pretty Civic'ish! BUT considering how low the rear of the Z is and how far back the they are under the car I don't think they will look all "that bad" when the car is on the ground, esp. if your Z is lower than stock! $0.02 ??
For me the only problem with the exhaust is tha angling. I won't even get caught up in debate about how ricey it looks, I just think Injen shot themselves in the foot by angling it like that...especially when the frame of the car is made to accept straight tips!

Even if that was from a previous (faulty) install of the same system they should have at least touched it up before using those photos on their site!
Wow, that is a lot of power. Now why can't they throw on there some stock looking or stock sounding QUIET mufflers on there. Even if it robs a few HP, I'd rather go fast & stay as quiet as possible than go a tad bit faster & have my car sound like a fruity *** fart mobile (opinion).
I don't want the whole world hearing my car, that's ghay.
If that exhaust looked like stillen or some of the other stock looking ones & produced similar gains, I'd buy TODAY.
My $0.02

You get a more power in a exhaust system when the pipes are straigth. in this case, Injen can't put the pipes completely straigth because of the size of the mufflers. if they put the mufflers like Stillen or HKS systems they lose power just because of the angles of the pipes.
in my opinin Injen is looking for power not appearance.
the other System that I bet that have very similar whp is the Greddy:

and ur telling me that the 90 degree bend INTO the muffler is straight?!?!?
The Injen is far less restrictive...
Hmmm, the Greddy looks nicer, but it's gotta be more restrictive with that 90 degree bend.
The Injen makes the power, but if you notice, the exit angle of the tips doesn't match the cut out in the rear valence. The cut out's were designed for pipes that existed straight back, not from a 45 degree angle. That's why you see the "burning" of the paint. Either the tips burnt the paint or the exhaust is leaving soot deposits. Both are bad.
IMHO, the Injen just doesn't look "finished". I guess it's the price you pay for max power.

I'd like to add something for all of you in this discussion.
I've had a conversation with Russ from Injen, who has told me that he is 99% sure there will be a version with straight tips, since many people don't like the angled ones.
If that's the case, I will be their #1 customer. Around $900 for an exhaust with 17-20whp that looks stock and sounds meaner ? Count me in.

Just from looking at the pics, it looks like Injen could just "slightly" bend the pipes to make the tips straight. A minor bend on each one would fix the problem and not make it much more restrictive. It doesnt have to be a sharp bend, it could be gradual.

And you can count me in for an exhaust that produces 30rwhp weighs 10lbs and costs $350.....sound ridiculous?
I know I'm a noob here, but i've been reading posts for months, and if there's one thing i've noticed, it's that people aren't very realistic in their expectations of aftermarket companies...Well that and the term "Rice" is severely abused.
Was "Russ from Injen" also 99% sure about the straight tips offering the same hp as the angled ones? If so, will it cost the same?....I doubt it. There's a reason Injen went with the angles....PERFORMANCE! If you think it looks "rice" then go spend more money on the stillen exhaust and get 1/3 of the performance gains.
