Default Headers and runbbing the fuel line?

I just want to know if strups or dc headers will rub the fuel line. I have an 06 revup touring and also have read in research that the steering column mmust be removed as well. Is there a chance to mess up the vdc at all with its removal for the install? And has anyone ever had a prob with the headers rubbing the fuel line? Just kinda worries me so any info is greatly appreciated/ Thanks
Jon

Why replace the headers that you already have?

Disconnecting the steering linkage on the drivers side gives you a little more working room. Mark the upper and lower parts. Simply remove the coupler. After header install align the upper and lower parts, and put the coupler back in place.

I would recommend some heat wrap though!
