Makes my car even louder than it was before and it sure suck in the air! I haven't really gotten on it yet to see about any added power "feel," but hey, I'm still 200 miles shy of break in. LOL

So, what is the InJen supposed to do for the Z?

It's a cold air intake system that's supposed to help bring more cooler air into your throttle body and then intake system to mix with your fuel, which, in turn increases horsepower.

InJen's dynos show something like a 5 or 6 hp gain at the wheels, but some people have not noticed any improvement, most likely due to not being able to upgrade the ECU yet.

While on the subject of cold air.

Typical "spring" day here in MI..think it might have gotten to freezing today. What happens then. Does this become an asset or a liability?

That looks fantastic. Very nice. How is the sound? Just louder or is it a different tone.
How much did that run you?

Thanks! It makes the car louder, but also gives it a bit deeper tone. I really like it after driving it around this afternoon. And I got it for 250 bucks from Avalon Racing.

And cheeves, I'm very sorry, I don't actually know the answer to that question. I know in Texas it's not a liability at all, even in the winter. Colder air, in general, is better in the fuel mixture. I can't give all those wonderful specific formulas and such to prove why, but someone once referred me to a wonderful site. It should help answer any car question you ever have!

I think it would have made your engine bay look nicer.

I bought it way before the black hoses were available, and I wasn't about to pay the 90 bucks just for something that I already had. LOL But I kinda like the red. Makes it a little different.
