No the OEM connects to the JWT, you will ruin the motor without it! It fits where an intercooler goes!

don't throw it away. keep it in case you wanna trade-in for a newer Z. that's one mistake ive seen many do. then you see guys wanting to buy the stock intake later on.

I'd hang on to it. I've go a JWT Popcharger and my OEM airbox is sitting in my closet, just in case I sell my car or trade it in. You can always re-sell the Popcharger when that happens as well.

A new airbox is like $150 or something, if I remember correctly
